This is the standard mortgage program that everyone knows about. Usually the best fixed rates are found on conventional financing. Applicants should have fairly good credit in order to qualify for a conventional loan. If you have had some minor credit problems don't worry! Many times, small problems such as a late payment on a credit card or a medical collection may not hinder you from qualifying.
